Our adventure to Sorrento was a huge success! The drive on Saturday night was quick, and Gita’s aunt’s house was such a lovely place to stay. Got up early (for a Sunday) for swimming with the dolphins. Unfortunately, the dolphins didn’t want to play but we did see a whole bunch of seals, some birds and some pretty fish! After cleaning up, we had a lovely fried picnic on the beach then wandered around another beach before making the trip home.

Totally keen on more weekends like this!!

Epic week!

Fucked Up on Wednesday was fun, although disappointing that we missed out on desert at East Brunswick Club. I enjoyed Fucked Up more this time than last and did not get rubbed up against by the shirtless singer this time, thankfully! A dude in the crowd grabbed the bassists boob, which was a bit of a downer but oh well.

Got to attend Lil Wayne and Eminem on Thursday with Claudia, thanks to Etihad who also fed us. I was only able to see 15 minutes of Lil Wayne, and have since found out that Birdman was there which only makes me more gutted that I missed most of his/their set. Eminem was really good, although I also found it quite funny. Lots of kids there waving their arms in the air, singing EVERY word. People watching was also hilarious.

Friday, I had Sade which I thought would be interesting, but turned out to be amazing! The band were flawless and the actual show was stunning, plus there was confetti! I really loved the projections, and the New York gangster vibes they had going on. Stayed right til the end, and followed the show with some Lord of the Fries. Saw some bogan girls get arrested across the road from Fed Square which was highly entertaining.
